Family in Champagne since 1863

The Bannière Family has been deeply rooted to the Champagne region and more specifically with origins from the Montagne de Reims. A 5th-generation family which settled in Bouzy – Grand Cru at the beginning of the 20th century. The 1st generation settled as specialists in crafting casks aimed at the aging of Red wines. In 1863, Pierre-Marie Bannière decided to specialize in winegrowing and pass through his expertise to the following generations.

Two generations later, Jacques Bannière become one a Champagne Trader – one of the first in the village of Bouzy; he then focused on developing local partnerships and lead the creation of the local collective industrial winemaking complex. The 4th and 5th generations aim at perpetuating this Heritage and now focus on value creation and oversea business development.
